Hi, I am Andrew Monath.

Andrew W. Monath earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Music Education from Westminster Choir College and a Master’s Degree in Integrated Arts Education from Arcadia University with a concentration in Musical Theater. He has spent over 30 years as both a Music Educator and a Church Musician in and around the Philadelphia area. He is currently a Choral Music Teaching Artist and Division Lead with Play on Philly where he directs a Choral Program of 160 students in grades 1 – 8.
He also works as a Mentor/Voice Teacher with ArtSmart where he teaches private voice lessons to High School Students He is the Organist at Sacred Heart in Clifton Heights and Organist/Choir Director for High Holy Days at Congregation Rodeph Shalom. Mr. Monath has been an adjunct professor at Arcadia University where he taught “Acting Styles in Musical Theater” and served as Musical Director in the Theater Department. He is currently serving as the Bass/Baritone Section leader in the Philadelphia Gay Men’s Chorus, sings Bass with the Philadelphia Voices of Pride and the Philadelphia Symphonic Choir which performs regularly with the Philadelphia Orchestra. He is a Broadway connoisseur. He spends most of his free time supporting the arts and the people who create it.
